pete_foster
This may be a bit of a silly question, but how does one use a Metz 45 Flash? Most of all, how do you increase/decrease the power? Are there any sites with detailed instructions? That would really help. Ok, thanks in advance for any responses.
jimvanson
Pete...there are several different flashes in the 45 series. Did you check out the www.metz.de site? Jochen_S
45ct5: plastic dial on top of the head lets you switch between manual 1/1, 1/2, 1/4, and "W" (damned weak) and maybe telecomputer f-stops and TTL with SCA adaptors and modern camera. Sorry I only used it at work in manual mode, so I don't know properly about the rest. Put film speed scale to your film speed and read telecomputer f-stops or f-stop for distance at dialed power. If possible use TTL. Use diffuser with lens 28 - 24 mm. Bounce flash with 20mm. use second (little reflector with small ND diffuser whenever you bounce. e-mail me what I forgot to tell you.
