duncan_trebilcock
I am about to purchase either a Tamron 90mm 2.5 52b, (the old one - 49mm thread), or a 52bb MF, the newer version, with a 55mm thread (not to be confused with the latest 90mm 2.8). cost and condition are the same, the optical design is the same. I am interested in any views from people who have used BOTH these lenses in earnest, from the point of view of durability and build. I am fairly familiar with the older model, but am not so sure about the newer one. I have handled it, but I would value a more seasoned opinion. Thanks for reading my question
douglas_green1
IMHO, the older one is slightly more robust in costruction.
