dietmar
its the condition and the material u use ..some photographers try to imitate those flairs..you used film/open aperture against window/outdoorsky right above the head..so its totally overexposed and flairs..the better coating on black lens gets better result..the point of your camera is low too..you can use your hand to cover the lens with its shadow..if you take fotos against sun and bright sky and so on you get it ..expensive or not expensive...if you dont like the effect try to have the lightsource from the left or the right or your back.photographers get paid to get those results/effects ..a little mystique and so on..you could use a reflector to get the right balance..even a flashlight but it has to be balanced so it doesnt destroy the naturell look..its about the balance between light and shadow/point of camera / the material..the development usw..not only the lens ! its a nice portrait..any closeups ?

greetings dietmar
