harry_soletsky1
Yesterday I spent the day with my 16mo granddtr primarily in the park but also at her home and later in the day with her 3 1/2 yo sister. I used my Leica M6(Now flare free) on a bright day with 28mm CV f1.9, a 35mm Lux and a 100 f3.5 Canon. Everything flowed wonderfully and then I took the Konica 400 film to Costco and had it scanned, 4 X 6 prints made, had a CD done. All done this AM in an hour with prints at $.10 each (reprints $.19) and looked them over showed them to may wife. She of course thought they were wonderful. Now I'm going to E-mail them to assorted relatives. I have the negatives for big enlargements and my long used Leica continue their useful work. stephen_w.
As the common bumper sticker says: A bad Leica day is better than a good day at work. I had a good Rollei 35S day in the rain today, thanks Matt M. Enjoy.
MTC Photography
I had a good Leica Saturday
There was a antique car show at Unionville, about two hundred cars on display, including 1912 Ford T model, smallest BMW front door car... I took my Leica IIIc loaded with Ilford Pan F plus in brass IXMOO casettes and took pictures of antique cars, engines, grills, until I ran out of film.
I brought also a Rollei 35S with color print film and Edixa 16M with Copex. A good Leica day.
MTC Photography
Having said that, I felt that the Leica IIIc with its squinty viewfinder is sloooooow to use, I tried to follow a lady in period dress, hat and umbrella, the rangefinder on IIIc is so small, it took me long time to focus. I said to myself, I should'nt left my Minox C or Minox EC at home. With a Minox C I can frame and take a picture in one second.

kevin m.
"The archetype upon which all Leica's business plans are predicated." Gotta disagree with your example. I'd say their business plans are better served by someone who buys one of everything they've ever made, gripes about them ceaselessly on the internet, who then buys more anyway, and who shoots 700+ rolls of film a year but won't share the results with his peers.
