mike burley
I just bought a canon 1D. All of my lenses fit nice and snug, but my 70-200 L series seems to snap into place, but is a little loose. Is this going to effect my pictures? Is this easily fixed? Expensive? Its well under warranty, so I'm not worried, just want to know if I will be with out it for a long time because its a hard repair. I would rather send it to a local repair shop if its an inexpensive repair, rather then waiting 2 months for canon to repair it. Anyhelp will help. thanks. the_macman
>>>>>>> Is this going to effect my pictures? Is this easily fixed? You got a digicam, just in case you didn't notice. That stands for practical know-right-now results. Do you really need us to inform you on how to find out whether your pictures will be affected or do you think you can find out by yourself? :))
mike burley
well I obviously tested the camera's results, but was wondering if light could leak in, THEORETICALLY. My main concern was the price or if anyone has ever had this problem. If you dont have a valuable solution, then dont post an answer. This isn't a sarcasm forum, its a Q&A forum. Did you bother to address any other part of my question?
ptucci
I would worry that your pictures might be a tiny bit softer than they would otherwise be. It may be intermittent, depending on how the lens is oriented when the shutter is fired. I have no idea how difficult the repair is.
