r.t. dowling
There is a press release on the Fuji web site stating that a new version of Sensia 100 will be coming out soon. I don't recall hearing about it here on photo.net so I was wondering if anybody knows anything about it. I'm wondering if it'll be a consumer version of Astia 100F or Velvia 100F, or perhaps a different emulsion altogether.
lyle_gordon
Considering that the old sensia is the old astia I would presume that the new sensia is the new astia. Altough my crude analysis could be incorrect.
jimh
exceptional skin tones, faithful color reproduction and the flexibility of broad exposure latitude and achieving top-level granularity among ISO 100 slide films sounds like Astia. Good news.
steve_dunn2
The old RA (Sensia 100) was the consumer version of RAP (Astia). The new one was announced at the same time that the new RAP (Astia 100F) was announced. It's a pretty good bet that the new RA is the consumer version of the new RAP.
steven_zellner1
I contacted Fuji customer service just after they announced the new Sensia 100 Film. According to Fuji, the new Sensia 100 will be based on Provia 100F. We shall see.
lon_houseman
I just saw a roll of "New" Sensia 100. Is this new emulsion now being widely distributed?
horst_heller1
Watch out! This film has changed and the new emulsion seems to be utter crap! By all means, test ist before you use it!
martin_patek_strutsky
Cannot confirm Horsts observation. To my eyes the new Sensia 100 is identical with Astia 100F and so it is an excellent film for an extremely attractive price...
