flash for mamiya pro sd

Arthur,

Pretty much any flash that can be triggered using a flash sync cord will work. Its a cold shoe design and there is no interface built in between the camera and the flash save for the triggering itself.

I've used a sunpak 383, an old, low-powered vivitar (to trigger the slave on my external flash unit) and a nikon dedicated 3rd party flash with a cold shoe adapter. Off camera I use a Balcar 1200a with 3 a maximum of flash heads.

Before or during the flash purchase, buy a flash meter. I've not taken a poorly exposed flash photo since I got my gossen luna pro f (unless you count the times that I forget to connect the sync cord... :) )

Regards,

Jim Seaman
