mikko_kalavainen
Hello all. I've been looking for a CV21 Color Skopar. However, I can't seem to find the prices in Euros. Or even a dealer on the net who has them. (NY-camera doesn't. Strange.) Does it usually include the finder? And how much is the M-mount adapter? A little help would be greatly appreciated. And IF there's anyone from Finland, our prices would be nice to know also. .m.
watts
Have you tried Robert White?
steve_unsworth1
Mikko The 21mm does indeed come with a finder - I also use the finder with the Voigtlander 15mm lens by ignoring the framelines - this means I only have to carry one viewfinder for the 2 lenses. A M adaptor will be around 50-60 Euros. As I'm sure you know the 21mm is a great lens. It's probably the most used of all the Voigtlander lenses I own (15, 21, 25, 28, 90). mikko_kalavainen
Ian: Robert White seems interesting, although the fact that his prices are in Sterling AND excluding VAT is a bit confusing. Steve: Is the 21 the ONLY CV-lens that includes the finder? I haven't yet seen the finder being sold on its own. And the quality is actually secondary to me, back when I had Nikons my wideangle was a Russian 20mm f:3.5 MIR, which wasn't exactly the SHARPEST lens in the world. So I'm used to some softness around the edges. It's so frustrating to work in a camerastore, when no one seems to know who exactly imports this stuff in Finland. Besides, buying from Germany etc. via the 'Net is often cheaper than buying from the official importers... Unfair, that's what it is. :(
oliver_s.
Check out Robert White nevertheless: in Germany, the importer suggests a fixed price and doesn't deliver to retailers that don't stick to it. (That's legal in Germany, believe it or not. Leica does the same btw.)
List price of the CV 21mm/f:4.0 is 600, including 16 per cent VAT. Look e.g. at AC-Foto.

steve_unsworth1
Mikko All the Voigtlander lenses wider than 28mm come with finders. The finders are available by themselves but are a little expensive (~90 GBP if I remember). Quatlity of the 21mm inages is excellent. A review in a UK magazine put the lens just behind the Leica offering at this focal length. The latest edition of the UK magazine Amateur Photographer has a company (Fieldgrass & Gale - +44 (0)1258 471717) offering a _silver_ 21mm for 200 GBP with finder! For currency conversions I use... http://www.xe.com/ucc/ Hope this helps.
dominiquepellissier
White is the cheapest. 225 GBP= 323 EUR +VAT (17.5%) = 379.52.
