lynnwood42
Question, I have a Minolta Maxxum 5 camera and a Minolta 28-80 macro AF D 3.5-5.6 lens. Yesterday I noticed that when I rotate the zoom dial from about 70 down to 50 I hear a light clicking sound. I don't ever remember hearing this before and I did not drop the lens. Does anyone have any ideas? My problem is that I leave 'tomorrow' for my vacation out of town and was planning on taking MANY pictures with this lens! Does anyone know if it will still work??? or will my pictues be ruined? I don't have time to take it to be repaired before I leave. HELP!!!!!!!!!!! todd peach seattle, washi
If you're freaked out (it might very well be nothing), shoot a 12 exposure roll and 'one hour' process it today. If it's toast, buy another lens or go without. If it's fine, enjoy your vacation.
ron c sunshine coast, qld,a
Do as Todd says-it is probably a small fault inside but it's best to be sure
