rkbrooks
I'm about to try my first batch of 4x5 negs in the Unicolor printdrum. Could someone with experience recommend a dev time for 4x5APX100 in 1:50 Rodinal? A search of the archives shows one person at 14 minutes and theMassive Dev Chart says 17. Thanks! ron_gratz
Agfa's product literature gives 14 min for a normal contrast negative. I have used this with my JOBO processer and had satisfactory results. To see Agfa's chart go to: http://www.agfa.com/photo/products/pdf/C-SW16-E15.pdf You'll get a downloadable compendium of their chemicals and recommended times for their films. walter_foscari
I would not spend too much time and effort working on this if I were you. Agfa has discontinued LF APX100 anyway. There have been several posts about it on this forum. Good luck.
hidden one
My times were somewhere between 6 and 7 minutes for 4x5 APX rated at 100 in Rodinal 1:50. This is at about 77F though. I hope this helps.
