eos 10 fan
Rob Galbraith posts D2H <a href=http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/multi_page.asp?cid=7-6269- 6285>Preview</a> <br> http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/multi_page.asp?cid=7-6269-6285 <p> From the conclusion: <br> "...it's clear that in designing their next generation digital SLR with the H designation, Nikon has set out to build not just a camera that matches the sexier specifications of the EOS-1D, but one that stomps all over its Canon competitor in the thoroughness of its design." <p> --
carl smith
Looks like the companies will start to take the digitals seriously, improving more than just resolution, frame rate and and buffer sizes. AF, metering and flash must continue to march on and I'm glad someone has finally decided to do that.
ShunCheung
There is no doubt that the D2h is a major step forward, but Canon is not going to stand still. Expect the successor to the 1D to match or perhaps exceed the D2h depending on how much time Canon has to work on it. Still waiting for the D2x myself though. larry_menzin
I'm waiting to see what Nikon has to offer this fall before committing to a Kodak DCS 14n. I am looking for 10 Mpix+ and good high ISO capabilities in a Nikon mount. Perhaps Fuji will beat Nikon to the punch. In the meantime, I'll just have to suffer with my DCS 760. Giving up the F5 body is going to be hard to do.
carl smith
Its also entirely possible that Canon will get the 1D successor to shelves before the D2h, but the rumors (whatever may be true) only show an increase in resolution.
