alberto pastorelli
In order to upgrade "slowly" to the new 67II I was thinking about to start to buy the new body without the 67AEII prism, and to use instead my Waist-Level Finder or the old TTL prism... someone can tell me if it can works ? regards Alberto
gert_jan_bollen
Hi Alberto The Waist-Level Finder wil Fit on both, since no electronic contacts are involved no problem will arise.About the prism mechanically they will fit but electrically they will not, so no light metering possible! Kind regards Gert Jan
patrick_drennon
I have both cameras. I can't think of any reason I would ever attempt to fit the TTL from the P67 on the P67II. The shutter speed link would overhang, Pentax indicates that the two are not compatible. The waste level finder IS compatible. I have an old style rigid finder and have already used it several times on the P67II.
alberto pastorelli
Hello Gert and Patrick, thanks for your gentle answers. No, I never think to use the old TTL prism except for "looking through"...Anyway, I'm happy to know that the old "mount" is preserved and I can use the waste level finder with my external lightmeter... till when I'll be ready to buy the new TTL. best regards to everyone Alberto
