dpurfectlight
Hello Everyone,I have slides come back from Ritz E6 processing. The Slides from Ektachrome E100VS and new Velvia 100F have more purple color in the slides.I don't have that purple problem with Velvia 50 (shoot @ ISO 40) , Provia 100F and E100SW. All of the slides were scanned with Minolta dualscan III. Should I shoot the E100VS and the Velvia 100F as 80 ISO instead of the DX default. Have anyone tried ISO 80 for those films ?I have a Nikon N80 and 24-85mm AFS G ED lens. Thanks for all the help.
ky2
I think this relates to scanner configuration only. I scan my 100VS and 100F regularly, and neither introduced any color cast.
marshall
Hm. If the slides themselves are consistently purple, that's strange, but I doubt that just shifting the exposures consistently up part of a stop will fix the problem.
the lone ranger
If you're worried about the purple, your first sentence should be enough explanation. If you're gonna shoot expensive film, you might as well have it processed at a decent lab.
