pcg
Another Summilux shot using Fuji NPH. Thanks!<div></div>
tcb.photo
Geometric photos, to me, are always interesting. The lens is obviously sharp, you had it in focus. The color seems very true. The detail of the ground texture is apparent, and adds a contrast to the smooth geometric lines of the design. I would say it's a nice photo, but remember that all art is subjective. So people who like flowers and people might not like more abstract photos? Just a thought
abufletcher
I can't see why someone would take a perfectly good camera --- and point it at the ground! Surely there must be more potent subject matter out there in the world. I have nothing against "found art" abstracts but some rectangles of the world are more interesting than others. tom h.
Nice shot, Patrick. Abstracts are the easiest, and the hardest photographs to take. I think if you shaved a bit off the bottom of the frame so that the tip of the blue triangle touched the edge of the frame it might be stronger, but either way, well seen. cmphoto1
I like it. Great colors, good detail. Has meaning to those of us who ran track at some point of their life. I enjoy that kind of photography - trying to see the art in everyday things. Anybody can point a camera and take a picture of a mountian or a dear. Well, OK, I have a little less success than most at that. chad
robert_m_johnson
Pat, your photo reminded me of this shot at my sons football game in Gardner. (Pat knows where that is :-) )<div></div>
