ajit_limaye
Hello. When I print to my printer I get horizontal light lines throughthe darker tones. The spacing between lines alternates between 1/16in. and 1/8 in. and is independent of print size. I only see this indark tones. I am printing from Photoshop (v7) using a file scanned forme (from a 4x5 transparency) at 1600 DPI. I get the same problem with other transparencies scanned with myscanner at home at 400 DPI. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance . . .
jon_austin
Are you having this problem with other print jobs (documents, digital camera images, etc.), or just these scanned transparencies?
Ken Katz
My S9000 did this right out of the box, but manually setting Quality to 1 fixed the problem. Try it.
dloose
Does it need to have the nozzle alignment done?
pierre_bize
Manually set the quality to the max, it will solve the problem. I don't think you will need to align the nozzle.
ajit_limaye
The problem persisted even after a nozzle/head alignment, and it was still there when printing files from other sources. But when I set the quality level to 1 (the maximum) as Pierre and Ken suggested, it cleared right up. Thank you all very much for your help and responses.
