david b
A quick question: If I rotate the back on my Wista 45VX so it is orientated for upright or 'portrait' format, then using my 90mm f/8 Schnieder Super Angulon lens, will the view include the bottom of the bed, assuming no movements, and infinity focus. If the answer is 'none' then how much. if any. front tilt can be used? I know of course, that I could just try it, and will do so at the weekend, but wanted to get the opinions of others. Thanks very much!
rob_barker
I've been using a 90mm f8 Super Angulon on a VX until very recently. There is no issue with the bed being caught in the frame and you can tilt until the lens runs out of coverage without this being a problem, on the SA f8 at least. What is a problem, and the reason I have just traded the VX in for an Ebony RW45E, is that 100x150mm gradutaed filters such as Lee NDs cannot be used as the filters cannot be pushed down enough to get much graduation before hitting the bed. Drop bed is a solution but is a right PITA! cheers Rob Barker
