ralph_barker Posted June 7, 2003 Share Posted June 7, 2003
Lots of trading has taken place inside at the Hubbell Trading Post inArizona since the day in 1878 it was purchased by John Hubbell. TheHubbell family continued to operate the trading post until it was soldto the National Park Service in 1967. It is now operated by anon-profit organization, although you'd never tell that from thecurrent prices of things. I understand that one of the senior clerksis even named Martha. ;-)

.

<img border=2src="http://www.rbarkerphoto.com/misc/Travel/VAC0902-1313-600.jpg">

.

<img border=2src="http://www.rbarkerphoto.com/misc/Travel/VAC0902-1316-600.jpg">

.

<img border=2src="http://www.rbarkerphoto.com/misc/Travel/VAC0902-1317-600.jpg">

Leica M6 TTL, 24mm Elmarit and 35mm Summicron on Provia - ambientlighting only.
Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

travis1 Posted June 8, 2003 Share Posted June 8, 2003 Ralph, some vibrant colours you got there. I see a little vignetting in the 3rd pic. SHould that happen to the 24mm elmarit? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ralph_barker Posted June 8, 2003 Author Share Posted June 8, 2003 I think what you're seeing, Travis, is the way the window and interior light is hitting the room, rather than vignetting from the lens. The blanket room window is at the far right in the first picture, behind the wagon wheel, and had a single ceiling lamp in the center of the room. I've not noticed any vignetting with the 24mm Elmarit-M in other images. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
