stevep
Can anyone recommend a source (pref. online) for a thin, soft, woven strap to use on my CL? If you know the Konica Hexar strap - something like that. The CL is so light that many straps end up bulkier than the camera. The new Leica strap is a bit too thick, and also has the hoops meant for M eyelets. The CL has the "slot" lugs, so I just need a plain strap to thread through. Thanks - Steve
monsoonphoto.net
Try the one offered by Cosina-Voigtlander. Very nice piece of canvas (?). Soft and without metal/plastic parts to hurt your camera.
glenn_warren
I have a Minolta branded strap of this type you can have for free. Mail me directly and I'll post it off to you at the weekend.
godfrey
Nikon makes a thin, woven nylon neckstrap for one or another of their cameras that is a perfect match to the Leica CL and carries no branding, it's just simple black. I bought one about 5 years ago for $11 at the local photo shop, and bought another when I needed a strap for a Fuji GA645. Fits the lugs and the purpose perfectly. dave_flanagan
When I had a CL, I used the Tamrac straps with the quick-connects. I left the hand-strap on for day-to-day stuff, and when I needed it, I could switch in a neck strap. Worked very well. Cheers, Dave
