nathan_smith4
Anyone out there with experience with the Kodak Synchro-Rapid 800?
I know these are notoriously difficult to work on, but I can't figure out how to get it open! I've taken the lenses and the speed ring off but from there I don't see any screws. There are 3 on the back but they appear only to hold on the aperature adjustment ring. The shutter cocks but doesn't fire when the release is pressed until you push the cocking lever back a bit. Seems like something I could fix if I could get it open.
Thanks in advance for any and all help,
Nathan
dan_fromm2
Send it to Fred Lustig in Reno, NV before breaking it more. The more you break it, the more he'll charge to set it right. Fred should just have left on vacation, not sure when he'll be back. Call him at 775-746-0111. He denies having e-mail, no web site either.
