The Nikkor lenses in Leica screw mount can be used with a bayonet adapter and will couple to the rangefinder. F2AS is hardly "early". Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

bob_eskridge Posted May 20, 2003 Share Posted May 20, 2003 I have an adapter as you describe. It is a neat item, especially for using certain focal lengths on the Leica M on an occasional basis. There was a time when I used my Nikon 24 f/2.8 as my wide angle on a Leica M. Scale focusing each, I couldn't tell any real difference on slides between it and my Voigtlander 25 f/4.
