gary e
I would like to know from R8 owners what flash they are using? Is the Metz the only way to get Rom feedback for auto zoom type flashes? (including the SF-20 of course)
mark_wilhelm
I use the Metz 54MZ3 and like it very much. It balances nicely on the R8 with winder. I use the SF-20 on my M cameras but I don't really like using it on the R8 for some reason.

fotografz
Gary, I have a mint 54MZ-3 for sale along with the off camera cord unit. I got it for the M7 (anyone know if that's the same module as for the R8?), hated the unbalanced feel, got the TTL module for a R6.2, then turned around and sold the SLR. My bad planning can be your gain. e-mail me if interested. It's still sitting here unused. I'll even throw in some Nih batteries and charger. svante.johansson
It seems that both the M7 and the R8 uses the SCA3502 adapter, while the R6.2 uses the SCA351. Your Metz adapter questions are answred here (click on Mecablitz > SCA-adapter in the menubar on the left).
