I have seen just recently an adapter as part of a larger group auction of Canon FD equip that will mount an OM lens on a FD body as to weither it maintains infinity focus the auction did not mention. And since I was not interested in the other items in the auction I didn't mark it . You might try Stephan Gradys site he sells many different adapters.

I own an OM to EF (EOS) adapter, it is 2mm thick (and cost a fair bit). It maintains infinity focus without optics, so it would be possible to make one for OM to FD. Whether anyone does is another question...

Canon FD bodies are the thinnest of the manufacturer's bodies, so several adaptors are avaliable- I've seen several Pentax Screw mount convertors. I would say unless you've got a really special lens it isn't worth worrying about- you lose any automated control and its stop-down metering only. SRB can provide them, and they do crop up in the more esoteric of second-hand shops.
