philip_sweeney
I was checking the specs on 8 1/4 red dots and found some original literature. In barrel the 8 1/4 is listed for 9 x 12 film. However mounted on a shutter it is listed for 4 x 6 film. I know often times published data is conservative. Mounted on a shutter will this lens cover 8 x 10 at F45? jim_galli4
Big NO. The 9X12 is CM, not inches. I have one in original Compur shutter and I love it but it's a 4X5 lens only. You need the 6 element plasmat style graphic 210 to make it around 810. G Clarons will at 210mm.
john_kasaian1
philip, FWIW, a 14" Artar will cover 8x10, but not with much in the way of movements---quite sharp though! IMHO, I wouldn't even bother trying a 12"
