saulius_eidukas
I just came across a forgotten bottle of Kodak Rapid Selenium Toner. It is quite old, (couple of years?) the solution is about half finished so there is air inside the bottle. I was wondering if anyone new the keeping properties of this toner, can it still be used or better to just discard? Thanks in advance.
rick_jones5
Use it! It should be fine. I came accross a bottle of KRST that I had bought maybe 20 years ago(label showed I paid $3.75 to give you an idea of how long ago it was purchased). Gives same results as new bottle bought 2 months ago.
robert_a._zeichner1
I've yet to find an old bottle that didn't work just fine. I've rescued glass jugs of the stuff that date back to the 60's and have even gotten a few old bottles of Ansco Flemish Toner (basically the same thing) with metal caps. Still, no problems. With my replenishing procedure, I don't expect to have to buy any more of the stuff until it's probably $80/qt.
