I've done quite a bit of internet research on the Arcatech Ultimate, Kirk BH-3, and the Novoflex Magicball (any size) ball heads. I haven't been able to find enough info to make a decision, so I was hoping that the much more knowledgable and experienced photo.netters would be able to share whatever they know about these heads! Ball heads are just that, but research on, and maybe one day you will envision your own design that leaves all other in the dust and i will buy it, too. Honestly: what do you try to achieve, what loads, camera format, weight, cost, ... I would start there, rather than to ask us for another blanket recommendation. A 6 foot 11 inches 260 pound man fits rather ill into a Civic; so, what if i like and recommend that car, what nonsense .... and a 4 foot 10 petite in a Suburban .... ??
