Film Camera Week for April 5

Recommended Posts

Greetings, all, and welcome to our new thread.  Post all the images you like from any film camera.  I'll start with some images from a roll of Kentmere 100 that I processed and scanned yesterday.  Camera was Maxxum 8000i with Maxxum 50mm f 1.7.

Outside of refrigeration unit.

Some from a film shot early on Easter Sunday, using a Canon T90 and a 35-70mm Canon FD f/4 lens. The town was practically deserted, rather an eerie feeling. The film was Arista EDU Ultra 100 developed in Spur Acurol-N.

Recently I took my custom 4x5 ultrawide point&shoot camera to the Pacifica beach. Schneider 65/8 lens, expired EPP100 Ektachrome cross-processed in C41. There are some vignetting on all four corners.

And two B&W photos shot on Ilford HP5+ with orange filter, developed in Adox FX-39 II.

The vignetting isn't surprising since this lens doesn't fully cover 4x5--the image circle is 152 mm and 4x5 diagonal is 161 mm.  My Rodenstock 65 mm f/4.5 just covers 4x5 as long as there aren't any movements used, but the corners are still a bit darker since the law of cosines hasn't been repealed...  When I shot interiors with it I got in the habit of adding more light to the edges of the frame than I did for the center to balance things out.

New to me, 70 y.o Mamiyaflex Automat B with Sekor 75mm f3.5. Loaded with Kentmere 400 @ EI 250 in HC110 @ 20C for 9.5 min, agit. 4 per min. Took it for a test drive around local park to see what happens. Screwed up in the Changing Bag and fogged nearly everything except about 4-5 at end of roll. However got enough evidence to confirm it's credentials. Will give it another, more serious, run when the sun comes out again. All cropped to 3:2 Ratio.

I had my 3x4 RB Graflex Series D out at a local park last weekend, had some time to develop and scan. Film was Fortepan 400 shot at 100 and developed for 8 minutes in Kodak T-Max developer.
