frank-g
I recently acquired a Konica Big Mini 301 which is absolutely Pristine But the Battery gets very hot and there is a delay of 30 seconds between shots, possibly capacitor problem. I am a camera repairer but I have not attempted to repair point and shoots before so if anyone has any idea's or information I would be grateful to hear from them. bruce_z._li2
I have the earlier model: Konica Big Mini BM-201, which I replaced the ribbon cable. For those p&s cameras, ribbon cable might be the first place to look for trouble. Just a thought, even though your camera might have totally different diagnosis. Opening it and putting things back are not that difficult - there are YouTube videos. In my case, I did need to desolder and solder the ribbon cable though.
