bobatkins Posted March 21, 2003 Share Posted March 21, 2003 There's a problem with the function that allows you to edit the comments on static pages. If you edit your comment, the edited version picks up the current date and automatically shifts to the end of the list (bottom of the page). This means that any edit results in your comment being removed from it's original slot and added on the end which totally screws up any logical "train of thought" running in the thread. Maybe this was originally done by design, but I don't think it's a very good design! There's a thread of comments on my article on dynamic range which is now somewhat scrambled because two of the participants (me included) made minor edits to correct their earlier comments - which have now turned into what look like illogical later comments!
