He turned out to be a very interesting chap, telling us how he managed to buy his first M3 for a hundred dollars in a New York camera shop because the manager didn't think anyone wanted old cameras like that anymore! He's now got an M4 and an M6.<p> He was wearing an American Airborne lapel pin and apparently he now works with the company that made 'Band of Brothers'. He was telling us that he was just off to France to cover a re-union of the original men in the unit the book and film was based on.
