Leslie Reid Posted August 20, 2022 Share Posted August 20, 2022 Nice photo, Mike! Here's what I did: 1. Adjusted contrast, white pt, black pt, and sharpened in Lightroom 2. In Photoshop, I straightened the lines with using "distort" transform, then did some cloning and healing to disassemble the crane. 3. I lost all my photoshop edits when something crashed on the transfer back from PS to LR (I'd just updated both programs an hour before) 4. Redid step 2 incrementally, bouncing back to LR occasionally to make sure it would transfer back OK. It did. 5. Back in LR, I readjusted contrasts, cropped, and selected the red "n" to increase its saturation and lighten it. 6. Uploaded the photo, but before completing the post I looked at it and realized that I'd messed up--with straight edges to the building, it made it look like the building gradually grew wider upwards. Deleted my edited photo. 7. Back in PS, I reintroduced some tilt to each edge of the building using the "distort" transform, and here it is: 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
