<p>

Took this from the hip with the Jupiter 3 1,5/50 wide open. Didn't

dare to aim and focus and shot away. When I scanned it yesterday it

went to the trash folder but after looking at it again I started to

like it somehow. I'm curious what you think about it as it is.

i like it better cropped. it has a great emotive feel to it which i think works. i would have liked it to be just a tiny bit less blurred so the figures are more easily recognizable. but i still think it works.

I like it! I would crop just a bit off the right and a little less from the top than the cropped version shown. I hope this doesn't percipitate a huge "bokeh" argument over the relative advantages of out of focus pictures with Russian glass over Japanese glass! We all know that only a Summilux can give truly gorgeous out of focus photographs!

Johan:

Ou of fucus, blurry etc etc. Has anyone ever seen a JWMTurner watercolour which sells for hundreds of thousands?

I like it: moody atmospheric almost illicit. What will be happening half an hour later, or the next morning. It certainly is not a portrait to hang on the wall when her mother comes over, like a wedding photo.

Good rescue

Cheers

Uncropped or cropped this almost throwaway has possibilities. What

might they be?

Forget contests--you'll win first prizes and that will be the end of

you as a serious artist (half-joking).

Seriously, I don't see this photo standing up by itself. I do see it

as a backdrop, or something in a series, or a poster for something.

Save it.
