Fuji XT-1 question

Hi all,

 

I have a question about using a Fuji XT-1 camera, when I use

the rear control to change apertures on the XC lenses, sometimes

I have to turn it every two steps and the aperture will change. When I

switch the aperture control to the front control it turns finer and changes

faster. So does the rear control not as smooth working as the front control?
