NORMAN 5X BEAUTY DISH DESCRIPTION:

 

The Norman 810740 22-inch BEAUTY DISH White Soft Reflector produces a beautiful and controllable soft light that bounces from the "saucer" into the parabolic reflecting white-titanium surface prior to reaching the subject. It produces 4/10 stop less light than a bare bulb, with 130 degree coverage, and about 1 stop more light than a softbox of comparable size. It produces a quality of light that is comparable to that of a soft box twice its size, and the shallow design of the 5X provides compactness and control not found in soft boxes. It is great for product, fashion, portrait and commercial applications.

 

The 5X Fits these Norman Studio Lamp Heads: LH500, LH500B, LH500B+, LH2000, LH2000B, LH2400, LH2400B, IL2500, LH4, LH4000, Illuminator, and the LH4000 Dual Cable High-Output Lamphead. It is also used with the discontinued LH4 and LH54 lamp heads. These lamp heads will accept a 150-watt or 250-watt quartz halogen modeling lamp. Fan cooling is not required in this situation.
