Bill Bowes
Hello everyone. Most tripods these days have 1/4" post & those of us using the Fed-1 or Fed-2 cameras need adapters for the 3/8" threads in the bottom plate of the cameras. The only adapters I have found until just recently are small & protrude out the plate. But Now ! I came across these on Ebay & have put them into my Fed-2's. Yes they still protrude, but their larger base now supports the bottom plate. $6 for two from a vendor/seller down in S. Calif. Enjoy, Bill
Bill Bowes
Oh well. . . better Two's than None's.. I might add that a small amount of nail polish around threads keeps the adapter from "creeping" out of the camera threads.

Wouter Willemse
Two photos from last week - summer weather has been very autumn-like, and continues to be so. So not too much luck getting nice pictures bathing in light like some of the others in this thread.... Both with a Leica R7, Summicron-R 35mm, Orange filter - HP5 in HC110 dil. Wouter Willemse
Nice results with the Tri-X; looks a lot more subtle for grain than I ever managed to get out of it!
James Bryant
Mike I like the chapel courtyard image. Wouter, I have had good results with 400TX the new designation for Tri-X after it was re engineered in 2007. The grain is smaller and the tone range is great. I don't know what was changed but the results for 35mm are better than I remember for the old Tri-X.
Wouter Willemse
I've only used the modern 400TX actually, but never really got good results out of it. Very likely to be my lack of skill at work :-) (luckily for me I do get along with HP5, which is cheaper where I live)
Mike Gammill
As much as I liked early versions of Tri-X I really like the current version for its fine grain and its tones. I use HC110 dilution B almost exclusively.

darin_cozine
Here are a few from a test roll using a Canon iid2 and Canon Serenar 35mm f3.5. film is from an unknown bulk roll. Processed in xtol. The negatives were a bit flat though they scanned well. Have to increase my development time by 2 minutes next go around.
