Matt Laur
Important: please keep your image under 1000 pixels on the longest side for in-line viewing, and please keep the FILE SIZE UNDER 300kb. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). Are you new to this thread? The general guidelines for these Wednesday threads are right here:http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00W7km. This forum's moderators are allowing up to three Nikon Wednesday images per week, so share some work! It's a very hot and humid Nikon Wednesday here, so some indoor shooting is always welcome. My friendly household jeweler had just flush-set a stone in this ring, so I made her surrender it for a quick shot on the arm of a leather chair, speedlight bounced unscientifically off the wall behind me. It's always fun to play with a macro lens! What have the rest of you been up to? Share! D810 at ISO 320 and 1/160th with Sigma 105/2.8 Macro at f/8. Shoe mounted SB-800, bounced.

John Di Leo
My refurbished D810, referenced in another thread, finally saw first light with me this past weekend at the annual Running of the Bulls here in New Orleans. Definitely still learning the proper settings, but here are a couple with my 24-70. I think I will be pleased. and and for Dieter, another one of the Palouse taken with my d700 a few years back
