Karim Ghantous
Yes, the old hypothetical rears its head yet again! Well, I have a couple of weak tie-ins this time: it's almost the 4th of July and Americans will be in full revelry mode, going on day trips and taking photos and all that jazz. In addition to that, it's Canada Day weekend, and soon July 14th. So if you could take only one camera and one lens for a given occasion, what would they be? If you choose a film camera, what would your emulsion be? I am not shooting Leicas or RFs ATM but my ideal choices would be the M7 with a Zeiss 50/2 and Vision 3 500T. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zs6qHxeZR3Q
pensacolaphoto
I have my set-up planned: Polaroid Land 250 with Fuji 100-C film. It has to be unique for such an event.
Vincent Peri
I'm shooting with a Nikon F2A camera and Nikkor 105mm f/2.5 AI lens, using Tri-X film, this weekend.

Hand held meter - a digital Luna Pro is just fine. Tri-X to be processed in 1:1 Mytol 2) Leica IIIF with a Canon Serenar 50mm/1.8 (silver body). I used (had only) this gear for 15 years back in the 1960's and 1970's Meter, emulsion, and processing the same as above.
Troll
My Leica III with F2 Summar and Ilford XP2 A GREAT combination, unless you happen to want some color.
stric
Hmmm... that's a good one. I gues it'd be M7, 35 'cron and Acros.
christopher_a._junker1
M3, 50 Summicron, Kodachrome 64. Oh, you mean for real. M3, 50 Summilux, Tri-X.
bobtodrick
I'm afraid I'm going to cheat. If I was limited to one camera/lens it would be my Leica V-Lux 114. To many time in the past I've missed a good photo opportunity because I had the wrong lens or only one lens with me. I refuse to miss a good photo because I was trying to prove how minimalist I can be.

Karim Ghantous
Bob, zooms are legitimate. :-) Some would choose the Sony RX10. In fact I predict that those sorts of cameras will be the tools of choice for the press in the future.
