Matt Laur
Important: please keep your image under 1000 pixels on the longest side for in-line viewing, and please keep the FILE SIZE UNDER 300kb. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). Are you new to this thread? The general guidelines for these Wednesday threads are right here:http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00W7km. This forum's moderators are allowing up to three Nikon Wednesday images per week, so share some work! Third week on a theme for me - thanks for your Nikon Wednesday indulgence, fellow Nikonistas. Two weeks ago, it was a shot in the lab where some silver had just been etched. Then last week, a staged product shot of the pieces against some leather props. Today, it's images in the wild, where three of the pieces graced the backs of three bridesmaids - shown here at the reception as they gaze east from a Virginia rooftop, across the Potomac, taking in the DC skyline just as the sun was going down. I was Uncle Bobbing with permission from the hired wedding photographer, who appeared to be a real pro ... but this wasn't on his shot list. So good thing I had the bag over my shoulder. Quickly shot with a D810 at ISO 500 and 1/250th using a Sigma 35/1.4 Art at f/4.5. What the heck, we're allowed to post three images, right? So, three. Watcha got this week? Let's see some photos!
