philipp
Hi! I sent my own 6x7 to repair and they lend me a 6x7II. I haven4t got a manual, so I want to knwo what the buttons "PS-Time" and "ML" are for, and how they are used. I want to take some time exposures this night so it would be great if I could use the battery-saving time exposure mode, which I think is operated by at least one of these buttons. Help! Thanks in advance Philipp Salzgeber philipp@salzgeber.at
rolland_elliott
ML stands for memory lockAs soon as the ML button is depressed the camera stores the measured exposure level for 20 seconds, the ML button can be releasedIf the shutter release button is depressed halfway down while the memory lock timer is operating, the memorized meter reading will remain even if the memory lock button is releasedThe memory lock function cannot be used when the camera is in manual metering mode PS time is for long exposuresThis mode is useful fr the long exposures required for shooting night scenes and astronmical photography1. Set the lens aperature ring2. Slide the PS.Time set lever out away from the camera body3. Wind the film4. Lock up the mirror5. Depress the shutter button Use a remote release or self timer to reduce shake.6. Slide the time exposure set lever back to the original position and the time exposure finishes Note that the time exposure can be set at any of the shutter speed positions.
