MTC Photography
The difference between vc meter II and vc meter I is in the arrangement of aperture dial and shutter dial VC I only allows one pair of (aperture, shutter) selection VC 2 allows 5 pairs of (aperture, shutter) selection
Greg M
They may look "classic", but cds meters they are not. They use silicon diode cells, not the old, less than desirable cds cells.
allard_wunderink
Nevertheless, I have an oldie Sekonic L-398 Studio de Luxe that still functions impeccably!

chuck_foreman1
As much as I would love to have one of these, I feel the cost is still too much! Maybe I'm just too tight-fisted. I think how many classics I could have for the same money and ... beat myself up about not having a reliable meter. I fear I will not trust the meter in the end. I have Modern SLRs with meters and they often don'T agree with each other. I have A Weston Selenium which I have used a lot and generally trust, but it never agrees with the Gossen LunaSix , I most often use a little Sony digicam and translate the setting as close as possible ... grr.. I fall into the category of too busy cutting wood to sharpen the ax :)
royall_berndt
You could get an MR meter and have it overhauled for less than buying the VC 2.
marcantel
remember seeing these a few years back 8-10 years, not cheap.
MTC Photography
Voigtlander vc meter is not as easy to use as Sekonic Twinmate L208.
