When I look through the viewfinder i can see quite a few black flecks, but nothing on the lens. Should I worry about this showing on the film scans? New to medium format. rossb Posted April 7, 2017 Share Posted April 7, 2017 The specs in the viewfinder, focus screen and such are not part of the photo. The mirror flips up, the shutter opens and the film is exposed. I wish I had a camera like that but they are old and the chances are it has not been serviced or cleaned in it's long life. Some specs in the viewfinder are just part of it's charm.
