raymond_bleesz
If one mounts, for example, a 4x5 Horseman 6x12 film holder on a acceptable camera (4x5), one would have an elongated negative if one uses negative film. What would your recommended enlarging lens be? And I suppose Omega makes a 6x12 negative holder??????? Thank you--Raymond
ellis_vener_photography
The same as I would use to enlarge a 9x12cm /4x5 negative: a 135mm or 150mm focal length enlarging lens. You can either modify a 6x9cm negative carrier or use a 4x5 glass negative carrier. However Omega may indeed make a 6x12cm negative carrier; it isn't that unusual of format. eugene_singer
Raymond, it's going to be very difficult to find a 6X12 negative holder for an Omega enlarger (4X5- D Series). I've never seen one. It would probably be easier to use a 4X5 glass negative carrier and mask off the 6X12 area with black paper or tape. I like the 135 EL-Nikkor enlarging lens. jim_blecha3
Raymond, You could just have an old 6X6 holder machined out to 6X12. JIm Blecha
