Nikon Mister
What browser are you using? Laurie Safari 10.0.3, El Capitan, Macbook Pro 2011, 17" i7, 2.2Ghz., 16GB RAM, 2TB SSD.
Leslie Reid
Safari 10.0.3, El Capitan
I had that problem with Safari + OS El Cap also, along with the flickering refresh problem that others have reported. I downloaded Google Chrome and was then able to change the avatar, and the refresh problem also disappeared. The latter turned out to be a problem with cookies--when I went into Safari --Preferences -- Privacy -- Manage website data (lengthy wait for the list to show up) --and deleted the photo.net entry, I was able to use Safari again. At this point I'm wondering if the inability to upload the avatar was a cookie problem rather than a browser problem.

Nikon Mister--Would you try an experiment for me and let me know the result? Could you try removing the photo.net cookies from Safari, then try uploading an avatar and see if it works?
Nikon Mister
Nope, deleting the Photo.net cookie did not work. I'll see if I can in Chrome.
Nikon Mister
It worked in Chrome. Bummer, I prefer to use Safari. Does it work for anyone in the Sierra version of Safari?
