mark_stephan2
With my Nikon and Canon bodies I use either a QR camera plate or L bracket. Having trouble finding anything made for my A77's or A900. Which one are you using? Thinking about buying a universal adjustable L bracket which will fit both the A77 and A900.

ben_ballard
I know this is an old thread, but I use a cheap Neewer L bracket for my a7, but unfortunately the side piece interferes with the strap mount point, so I only use the bottom piece of the bracket. If I'm going to use a tripod and want easy vertical, in need to take the strap off. I'd get a better bracket if anyone knows of one.
Dieter Schaefer
After spending way too much money on some camera-specific ones from RRS, Markins, Kirk, etc., from now on, I will either go with cheaper, Chinese-made ones or with a generic on that gets mounted when needed. Just got a $10 one for the A7II that'll have to do when I need it. Just don't use lever-actuated clamps with the cheap "imitations"; their tolerances are nowhere near as tight enough.
