ed_vaughn
I have an old MD-2, that when it works at all, advances WITHOUT the trigger being pressed, and stops when you let off. The levers that mechanically engage the reverse winding mechanism are also out of kilter. I sent it to Camera Repair Japan, (who's work I have been happy with in the past) and they returned it, citing they had no parts available. I hate to pitch it, and it makes me crazy to retire a peice like this to the garbage can. Does anyone know of a good repair facility that works off salvaged parts and could fix this for less than an arm and a leg? Thanks, Eddie
edsel_adams
Check the repair shops listed in back of the "Shutterbug".Sometimes the trouble is that any old "for parts" unit you find, might have the same parts burnt out as yours.
gary_watson
East: www.essexcamera.com. West: www.cameraquest.com. Just a matter of contacting them and discussing possibilities.
