leandrew_coates2
I have been shooting with Sony A230 for the past few years and I recently brought a Sony A500. I have notice a difference in the sharpness of the images with the same len. Has anyone else had a issue like this and if so how did you correct it.
phule
Where are you noticing these differences? Are you looking at 100% views? Are you looking at prints? Have you done a direct, side-by-side comparison between the two bodies shooting the same scene with the same settings?
Can you upload examples?

paul_de_ley
Which lens are you seeing the differences with, and what AF settings were you using? The a500 focuses much faster than your a230, but it also behaves a lot more "nervously", continuing to make small adjustments in AF-C mode if the subject moves or your hands are not perfectly still.
