randy_cooprider1
This week I went to a local lumberyard to get paint (ugh). In the parking lot was a restored 1949 Ford. This was the first really new model they made after WWII and led the way to large changes in both styling and engine design. It was glistening like a jewel so I snapped away with the new (to me) Nex3. No post processing was needed. Post up to three of your images with the long side no more than 700 pixels.

User_2019667
Randy, That is a very sharp 49 Ford Coupe. That style of 49 Ford was also known as a "shoebox" Ford. My brother just sold his burgundy one just like that blue one that you photographed. Those old 49 Ford coupes turn a lot of heads.
paul_de_ley
Hear hear for the lush, beautiful and sharp Coupe! Never having seen the interior of one of these, I'm even more impressed by the deep blue finish of the dashboard console.
Howard the lifting hook isn't just an eye catcher but also looks like a real head thumper... helmets all around for the RAL? And like you I'm way behind on processing pixels, these are from three weeks past or so. First off some underwater posing caught through the glass with a65 + Sigma 70 2.8 macro:

randy_cooprider1
Howard, the torso of the sculpture is very realistic but the hair gives it away. Gordon, it is a beautiful day here also but the scenery has a ways to go to catch up with that coastline. John P even though my brother had a '49 Ford this is the first time that the "shoebox" moniker has been revealed to me. Paul, had to blow up your pic to see the toe fringes. Must be there to help with sand navigation.
