robert_paul1
I was looking at the official Sony Alpha website and looked at the page listing the lenses. I notice several errors on it. The 24-105 lens is listed twice and there are two different pictures for it. And look at the description of the 35mm f1.4. They forgot to mention that it is a 35mm focal length. They just give you the equivalency for the APS-C size sensor. You'd think that they would try and get things right. They had plenty of time to proof it. I notice that they have a new macro ring light. This one is round and should give a more pleasent effect if you use it as a fill light when doing portraits. The old Minolta macro flash with the four separate tubes gave a weird reflection in the eyes if you used it for portraits. I wonder if the flash ring will fit on the older control head. Then I can order just the flash ring rather than the whole unit, saving some money.
michael_hohner
The new ring light is a LED light, not a flash. It won't fit on the MFC-1000.
