al_kaplan1
Maybe thy're freeing up production for a new variant of the M4? Nah! Too much to hope for.

bob haight
The rumor is there is an all mechanical M in the works, possibly alongs the lines of the M6 w/o TTL flash metering.
pete1
If you all will recall, they once ceased production of the M4 as well. If M7 sales tank (stop buying them) and if the electronic shutter M6 tanks (don't buy it), they will quickly bring out the M6-2P or something like that. john_collier2
The reason they are discontinuing the M6TTL is because its sales have "tanked". Everyone is buying M7s.
charles barcellona www.bl
I guess nobody's trading in M6's or... the dealers are all holding them out of the cases in hopes the value will rise once they're scarcer. BTW, I know one dealer who's doing this - one day he had 12 used M6's. Next day, not one in the case.
