richard_wallace2
Someone asked early on about the best MF body... which AF body would you choose? Thanks for the attention, RWallace
sl attanapola
Depends on the budget.Since you are in the Minolta forum I guess you mean a Minolta camera. If you are 1.)Totally skint Dynax 5 2.)Have money Dynax 7 3.)Want a tough camera body that is weatherproof and have more money Dynax 9 4.)If you are skint and want a tough weatherproof body Dynax 9xi

cmphoto1
I currently have a 7 and a 9. I shot my first event with an AF camera this weekend. I have played with everything from a 7000 to a 7, a roll here and there, but the 9 is a machine. You don't have to think about the camera, just the shot. I really noticed this when watching my frame edges. So, my vote is the 9. chad
scott_lewis3
If you can pick up 7 get it, If you find a 9 don?t let it go. If you want to go digital a 7D. You can find good condition 7's cheap second hand on line as people go digital.
franka t.l.
A 7 with VC-7 or a 9+VC-9 , and if you can overcome the somewhat quirky way of operation the 9xi ( love this beast )
oleg_kosyakovsky
I own 7 for ~3 years. Several months ago I bought the 5 as a back-up and... Well, while 7 gives a bit more successfull exposures with slides, it stays at home most of the time. Why? It's heavier, larger, more expansive, I'm more afraid of loosing/breaking it than the 5, etc.
