david_degilio
Are there any Minolta X-series 35MM SLR manual focus camera bodies with over 1/1000 shutter speed? If so, is cost prohibitive? Thanks, Dave

kin_lau
I believe there's also a few Chinese copies by "Seagull", that have 1/2000 shutter speeds. If you have a "Made in China" X-series, then it's made by the same company. Try here for a list
fmueller
For more info on Seagull you could also visit www.camerachina.com, and yes, according to that site the DF-400A and DF-400G have top shutter speeds of 1/2000s, and the DF-200A has a top shutter speed of 1/1200s. Unfortunately I believe you might have to travel to China to get one of these cameras - or at least I have never seen them for sale anywhere in the US, Europe and Australia. dw fletcher
You could probably get there before the website loads, too.
